Position: Registered Manager – Domiciliary Care
Location: Taunton and surrounding areas
Salary: £45,000 – £50,000 per annum
The Opportunity
We are recruiting an experienced Registered Manager to lead and develop a domiciliary care service in the Taunton area. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong leader who is passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care while driving service growth and maintaining excellent CQC standards.
Experience supporting adults with learning disabilities, mental health needs and complex care requirements would be highly desirable, alongside a proven ability to increase care hours and develop new care packages.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee the day-to-day running of the branch, ensuring high standards of care and CQC compliance.
• Lead, motivate and develop the care team.
• Drive service growth by increasing care hours and developing new care packages.
• Maintain quality assurance, safeguarding and regulatory standards.
• Build strong relationships with service users, families, commissioners and healthcare professionals.
About You
• Experience as a Registered Manager or an experienced Deputy Manager within domiciliary care.
• Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance.
• Ideally, experience in learning disabilities, mental health and complex care.
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care, or equivalent, preferably held.
• A proven track record in team leadership, service development and increasing care hours.
• Excellent communication, organisational and people management skills.
